Kissing Stool uses a folding technique often seen in Indonesia’s traditional costumes where the design emerges from the interaction between the material and the folding pattern. We interpret this in the digital space and furniture-making, where the final shape involves a combination logic of material system, pattern exploration, and structural analysis.
